Western Libraries cuts staff hours, now closed Saturdays

A cloud of uncertainty hangs over Western Libraries. Since university President Sabah Randhawa shared updates on Western’s financial deficit, Western Libraries’ administration has reallocated staffing resources, decreasing its offered services and shutting its doors every Saturday.

College in the High School: Top of its class in benefits

Increasing amounts of U.S. high school students are taking college courses in high school, according to the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships. Western Washington University hopes to be a part of this continued trend by becoming more active in the College in the High School program.

At the southern tip of Western Washington University's campus, tucked between Fairhaven College and Buchanan Towers lies five acres of land, teeming with life and activity, student contributions, chickens, beehives, community gardens and organic food forests, a greenhouse and a creek running through it all.
