Every Monday this quarter, a Western Front reporter will tell you what’s good in Bellingham. By Amalia Justiniano With the rise of ‘90s making a comeback, there was no doubt that old school arcades were going to come back. For the past couple of weeks, I have heard about the Ruckus Room on Railroad and how it’s a bang for your buck. The atmosphere of Ruckus Room is definitely one of nostalgia. They have  games ranging from skee ball to Pac-Man. There are  a lot of kids during the day, but once the sun goes down, the adults are ready to play. All the games there range from 25 cents to $2. If you come in with a pocket full of quarters then you’ll have 2 hours of entertainment for $10. Disclaimer: This will vary on your mastery of a pinball machine. If you are 21+,you can get a can or bottle of beer ranging from $2.50- $5. Nachos and hot dogs are $4.50- $6. They also have regional ice cream starting at $2.50 for a scoop. Or if you’re not up for that, Casa Que Pasa is right next door. The Ruckus Room is a great place to keep in mind when you have friends visiting Bellingham or just to kick it on a Saturday night. It’s something that college students are able to do on a budget. They are open from 3-10 p.m Monday thru Thursday, from 3 p.m.- 12 a.m. on Fridays, from 11 - 12 a.m. on Saturdays and from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays. It is located on 1423 Railroad Ave.   Story updated on March 4, 2018. The original story had misinformation on food prices at the Ruckus Room.
