Thanksgiving means to me getting to spend time with people and helping others. Every year for my Thanksgiving I volunteer at a church and I do a community meal, so I give back. During the whole year, I’m thinking about everything that I have and wind up helping people that don't have other things like family, friends or meals on Thanksgiving. So, that’s what I’ve done and it’s really meaningful. I get to think about that on Thanksgiving.

It means getting together with family and seeing more of my new nephew, who is a tiny baby. It’s his first holiday. He’ll probably [eat] just formula. He might be onto solid foods. That’s why I’m excited to go home, I don't know what’s going on down there.

I think Thanksgiving has always been a time when people come together. It’s always very special for me because it is when my aunt flies [here] from Arizona and when I get to see family. It also kicks off the holiday season, which has always been a big deal with my family. So most of all, it’s this special time where everyone comes together.
