WWU women’s rugby and the executive orders

The women’s rugby team at Western Washington University made an instagram post  after President Donald Trump announced the executive order banning trans women from women’s sports. This post took a stand against the order, stating that “all athletes deserve to play.”

WWU men’s rugby set to defend conference title

In the 2023-2024 season, the Western Washington University men’s rugby team finished as Northwest Collegiate Rugby Conference champions in both fifteens and sevens and were the College Rugby Association of America’s D1AA West Region runner-up in fifteens as well as the CRAA D1AA national champions in sevens.

Viking alumni turned hockey coaches

Mark MacDonald and Hunter Warren are ready to come back to their alma mater. Across the board, there is one thing they are seeking: more wins. The Vikings’ season will start during fall quarter following tryouts in early September.
