Dense crowds of students shuffled from table to table, meeting new faces and collecting goodies at the Fall Info Fair, hosted by Associated Students on Sept. 23 and 24. The annual event provides an opportunity for students to discover and engage with hundreds of organizations, on-and-off campus.
Numerous organizations featured activities for students, including rafting in Fisher Fountain and Judo practice.
On Monday, Sept. 23, students gathered for performances from the WWU Dance Team, Bellingham Order of the Saber, Hanabi Con WWU and more. While enjoying the day’s events, students could not get enough of the free pizza provided by Domino’s and Pizza Hut.
As a part of Western Welcome Week, the Info Fair was one of many opportunities for new and returning students to celebrate the new school year.
Welcome Week isn’t over yet, the New Student Services & Family Outreach website has upcoming events such as the We Love WWU Scavenger Hunt, held from Sept. 30 to Oct. 7.
