Perhaps it was primal instinct, or maybe it was cabin fever. Whatever the reason,  COVID-19 has driven a record number of Washington residents to seek solace in nature — and the benefits people are feeling are backed by science.

The Western Washington University women’s volleyball team were victorious two times on Saturday, May 1, in their doubleheader against the Central Washington University Wildcats winning the first match, 3-2, as well as their second match, 3-0.

Western's golfing success at GNAC Championships

On April 20, the Western Washington University Viking’s men’s and women’s golf teams played the final round in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Championships. The Viking’s men’s team finished second among four teams, while the women’s were crowned champions of the event.
