Possible voyeurism occurs on campus
By The Front | February 16A visitor to a Viking Union men's restroom saw a person in an adjacent stall extend their hand with a cell phone under the stall, according to a Western Alert. This is the fifth instance of voyeurism reported to Western's community since Sunday, Feb. 12, via Western Alerts. The suspect in the Viking Union incident was described as white, wearing dark shoes. Bellingham Police and University Police have assigned extra patrols north of campus where the additional incidents occurred, according to an alert sent at 12:38 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16. The alert about the Viking Union incident was sent at 3:39 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16. Call University Police with more information at 360-650-3555.
String of prowlers seen north of campus continues
By The Front | February 16A prowler was seen in the 1100 block of North Garden at 7 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, according to a Western Alert. The suspect was described in the alert as a white man wearing a black, zip-up hoodie. He was seen pressing a flashlight against the window of a residence. This incident was the third instance where a prowler was reported since Sunday, Feb. 12. Police searched the area but did not find the man. He was last seen walking south of North Garden towards campus, the alert said. The alert was sent Thursday, Feb. 16 at 7:55 a.m. Call 911 with any information.

Prowler reported north of campus
By The Front | February 12A student reported seeing a male peering into her apartment window near Jersey and East Maple streets Sunday, Feb. 12 around 7:30 a.m., according to a Western Alert sent at 1:19 p.m. the same day. The male was described as college-aged and white. He was said to be wearing a black ski mask and a black North Face jacket. He fled in an unknown direction. The incident was reported to Bellingham Police and is being investigated. Call 911 with any additional information.
